Thank you for visiting the online home of the Western District Youth Division (WDYouth).

WD Youth serves the local churches of the Western District (UPCl) by providing opportunities for young people to be engaged in worship, evangelism, fellowship, and ministry.

Our 2012 theme is “ILLUMINATE” and it will define our vision. Our goal is to encourage young people and youth ministries to Light their world. We are a city set upon a hill, a light that cannot be quenched. We must let the fire of the Holy Ghost light our way into a dark world and show them there is a better way.

Every fall the WD Youth board comes together to plan and prepare for the upcoming year. Our goal is to put together, through the help of the Holy Ghost, events and activities that will not only encourage young people but also challenge them to achieve a greater relationship with the Lord.

Part of this planning process is coming up with a THEME. Something we feel that will be a vehicle to express our goal and desire for the upcoming year. Believe it or not, there is a lot of prayer that goes into choosing just the right theme. This year we wanted a theme that would express the notion of progressing forward into new levels of REVIVAL while at the same time announcing to the world we are APOSTOLIC!

With that said, I am excited to announce our THEME: ILLUMINATE

We believe that this theme expresses exactly our intent for 2012. Take a look at some of the definitions below. It is our goal to illuminate our world with the gospel of Jesus Christ and be the light this dark world needs. Help us Illuminate our world in 2012. “Let there be light”.
